I’ve always wondered; why the focus on race with this argument? If you really cared about reducing my crime, getting rid of poor people of all races would be far more effective than just one race.

One group is hugely disproportionate literally everywhere (similar stats in London), even amongst poor people - there are plenty of poor countries with homicide rates far lower than that of African Americans. China, Mongolia, most of Eastern Europe (even Russia with their awful economy and massive drug problem) don't even come close.

Crime rates among poor frens are lower than crime rates among wealthy non-frens :)
