It depends how far along you are. Nicotine is the hardest drug to quit, thats why you see junkies in NA meets who have been on opiates or crack for 20 years go out for smoke breaks.

As much as in the 70's/80's/90's people talked about pot being the gateway drug, I seriously think smoking is the gateway drug and programs your brain for addiction.

I would recommend trying to change your everyday and just completely doing stuff differently and quiting cold turkey. I've known a lot of people that worked for.

I'd also recommend looking into "mindfulness" (I know its a chick crack fad at the moment but it can help).

I've quit countless times and been dragged back in, currently I have early COPD and still smoke 2-5 smokes a day even though they make me feel seriously ill and have to sit down for 10-30 minutes after each smoke.

If you're young you need to try doing whatever you can to quit, it doesn't just make you a weak person with worsening health it is the worst thing you can do.
I was using a juul for 2 months straight going through a pod a day and I quit in a week. I just stopped buying pods and never went back. I guess it’s different for everyone.
